Description
One of a number of former luxury hotels standing abandoned and derelict in the town of Kupari in Croatia. In the 1960s Kupari was a luxury resort for the military elite of the time, and their families. Heavily shelled during the Croatian War of Independence in the 1990s the former luxury hotels of Kupari now stand derelict and abandoned in ruins, heavily pock-marked with bullet and shell holes. Here the once luxurious Hotel Goricina has been renamed Hotel California by a graffiti sprayer.
