Description
Heritage diesel locomotives 47712 Lady Diana Spencer and 47593 Galloway Princess hauling the "Staycation Express" charter special over Ribblehead viaduct, on the world famous Settle-Carlisle line in Yorkshire, England. The train is running daily during the summer season between Skipton and Appleby, with one of the heritage diesel locomotives at each end.
As the name "Staycation Express" suggests, the aim is to encourage people to vacation at home, and to help the leisure and tourism industries which have been badly hit by the Covid-19 pandemic.
