Description
Sutton Scarsdale Hall in Derbyshire, England is a grade 1 listed Georgian ruin. The house was bought by a group of business men circa 1919 and asset stripped, even to the extent of removing it's roof in 1920. Many of the assets were exported to America.
The ruin is widely regarded as one of the most haunted sites in England, with regular reported sightings of ghostly figures, and has featured widely in media articles and television documentaries investigating paranormal activity. Image toned and tinted for effect.

Thank you very much Mary. It is a very imposing ruin despite the fact it is now only a shell, with only the outside walls and some interior walls remaining. It sits on top of a hill with fantastic views of the surrounding countryside. Maybe it's haunted reputation is scaring the movie people away!
