From high on Axe Edge Moor the River Dane flows under the ancient packhorse bridge at Three Shires Head. This isolated spot is the boundary where the three English counties of Derbyshire, Cheshire and Staffordshire meet.

Thanks very much Anthony. The picture was taken on a Monday afternoon so I had the place to myself, as you know it's usually very busy with weekend walkers. Some great industrial pictures in your portfolio from around the Potteries, I can fully understand why you swapped it for California!
