About David Birchall
Originally from Manchester in England, but now live near the foot of the Pennines, regarded as one of the most scenic areas of outstanding natural beauty in Great Britain. It's a great place to live for a photographer, but as you can see from my galleries I like to venture further afield occasionally. Brooks (continued) India Jones and the Last Crusade, filmed outside the Treasury building at Petra. I get a kick from the fact that I have stood there and photographed that building, it really is like being in a lost world.

Brooks, don't say "never", who knows what the future holds? Petra has to be one of the most amazing places on earth, we were there three days but I think it needs a week to fully appreciate it and see all of it. I love watching the final scenes of "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade" movie, filmed outside the Treasury in Petra, and it amazes me that I have actual stood there and photographed it!

Great capture, David! I'm almost certain I will never 'go there', in person, so your amazing shot of this amazing place works for me. Fvl.
