Thank you Sandi. London is well worth the trip if you have never been, but everything is VERY expensive now, especially hotels. I lived there for a while a few years ago, just down river a bit from this spot, and took this on a recent visit to see some old friends. Tell your husband it's on your present list for your next birthday! :-))

Thank you Donna. It's a special place for me because a few years ago I had an apartment overlooking the river very close to where this picture was taken, with a lot of good memories. I always think of this place when I hear the song "Waterloo Sunset" and the line "dirty old river must you keep rolling, rolling into the night"! Enough nostalgia for now...!
