Artist's Description
The steel Right Of Return Key is 9 metres long and weighs approximately one ton. It was made by Palestinian refugees at the Aida Social Youth Centre in Bethlehem. The key symbolises the right of the Palestinian refugees to return to their homes from which their families fled when Isreal was established in 1948. Approximately 4.5 million Palestinians are living in refugee camps and bordering countries.
