The Cambridge American Cemetery and Memorial in England contains 3,809 headstones, and is the resting place of American service personnel who died during World War 2. Most of those lying here are airmen who perished in the skies over Europe, or sailors who served on the north Atlantic convoys.
The cemetery is in a beautiful and serene location approximately three miles outside the city of Cambridge, between the villages of Madingley and Coton.
I am aware that there be families in America with relatives and loved ones in this cemetery who would like to have a copy of this image. Originally from Manchester in England, but now live near the foot of the Pennines, regarded as one of the most scenic areas of outstanding natural beauty in Great Britain.
