Artist's Description

Watergrove Reservoir sits high in the Pennine hills in England, close to Wardle village, and very close to the border of the counties of Lancashire and Yorkshire. The reservoir was created out of necessity in the 1930s on the site of the old Watergrove village, following severe drought issues in the area. The woodland around the reservoir now forms a well known beauty spot and nature reserve.
