Originally from Manchester in England, but now live near the foot of the Pennines, regarded as one of the most scenic areas of outstanding natural beauty in Great Britain. Living in Germany for almost 40 years now, I have grown a respect for German steam locos, but find them nowhere near as good looking as what the "Brits" turned out!
