Originally from Manchester in England, but now live near the foot of the Pennines, regarded as one of the most scenic areas of outstanding natural beauty in Great Britain. It's a great place to live for a photographer, but as you can see from my galleries I like to venture further afield occasionally. I have been a photographer for over 30 years, and always remember the best piece of photographic advice I was given. Are these rented or privately owned David? They make wonderful designs. Nothing quite like this in the US.

I believe some are private and some are rented from the council, depending which beach they are located on. Not sure about these particular examples. I think they may be council rented, because as winter approaches they are taken away by the council and placed in storage, until the following spring.
