Artist's Description
Established in 1654, Boston's Green Dragon tavern has a long and interesting history, including playing an important role in the freedom of Boston during the War of Independence. The famous historian Daniel Webster has ratified that it was in the Green Dragon that the plans for the invasion of Lexington and Concorde were overheard, thus instigating the famous ride of Paul Revere.

Originally from Manchester in England, but now live near the foot of the Pennines, regarded as one of the most scenic areas of outstanding natural beauty in Great Britain. It's a great place to live for a photographer, but as you can see from my galleries I like to venture further afield occasionally.
