A border collie dog running through a field of poppies in Nottinghamshire, England. The dog is unusual in that it has very distinctive different colour eyes, one brown and one blue.
Originally from Manchester in England, but now live near the foot of the Pennines, regarded as one of the most scenic areas of outstanding natural beauty in Great Britain. It's a great place to live for a photographer, but as you can see from my galleries I like to venture further afield occasionally. I have been a photographer for over 30 years, and always remember the best piece of photographic advice I was given. Some years ago I worked with a very elderley and wise photographer and he said to me on one occasion "you are looking but not seeing". Thank you Denise. Not my dog, he just happened to come by with his owner as I was photographing the poppy field, and she agreed to let me take some pictures of him. A 10" x 8" print of this is already in the post to her., I'm sure she'll be pleased with it.
