Preserved steam locomotive A4 class 60009 Union Of South Africa making a dramatic entrance to the station from underneath a bridge on the East Lancashire Railway in England. 60009 is a sister engine to the world record speed holder for a steam locomotive, 4468 Mallard. Black and white and grainy texture added for vintage effect.
Originally from Manchester in England, but now live near the foot of the Pennines, regarded as one of the most scenic areas of outstanding natural beauty in Great Britain. It's a great place to live for a photographer, but as you can see from my galleries I like to venture further afield occasionally. I have been a photographer for over 30 years, and always remember the best piece of photographic advice I was given.
