Description
Mirror like reflections on the surface of Ladybower reservoir, on a beautiful clear winter morning. The reservoirs and dams at Ladybower are famous for their role in the dam buster operations of the second world war. This is where the bomber crews trained for their mission, as the layout and terrain was thought to be similar to that of the target dams in Germany. There is a memorial at the dam site in honour of the aircrew members who lost their lives on the dam buster mission.
